Ammunition

In a break from painting on Monday, the mac and I went to Verizon to get Jonathan’s phone fixed, and to add another line to our account (not for my mac, in case you were wondering).  While I was standing at the counter, ms. mac, bored of banging on the POS computer and chewing on my change purse, reached out to the woman standing beside me, laid her little, pudgy, baby hand on the woman’s arm and said “hey.”

Clearly she is already missing the constant attention from the students at school, and felt the need to seek that attention from a total stranger.  Fortunately, the stranger was happy to oblige.

One day, I’m sure she will look at me doing some sort of weird and bizarre thing and she’ll say “Mama, you’re SO embarrassing!”  Now I’ll have a story to use as ammunition when I say “I’m not the only one.”

New Music!

When my husband was a youth pastor, and I sang in the youth praise and worship team, I was all up on the newest praise and worship music out there. But that was more than four years ago (I can’t believe it) and I’ve lost touch a little bit. So I’m hoping that I can get this typed in enough time to receive my free CD from Matt Maher. He’s worked with some of my favorites, like Chris Tomlin, and with Shannon and BooMama praising him, I’m pretty sure I’ll dig his music.

If you have a blog, and want a shot at a free CD of your own, hurry on over and check him out.
