Giveaway Time Again

*** This giveaway is now closed ***

It’s time for the quarterly giveaway carnival, and this time the prize is truly a family effort.

Two people will win a set of 8 note cards featuring original artwork by my husband. The original artwork is acrylic on canvas, but the note cards with be color prints of digital photographs of the canvases.

4 of the cards will be printed on heavy grain watercolor paper, 4 will have the image printed on photo paper and mounted on card stock.

How to enter:

Visit my husband’s art site: My Heap of Canvas.com. View his spiritual gallery and his nature gallery. Click on the images to see them full size and read a little about each of them, then come back here and leave a comment telling me which image(s) you would choose to have on a set of note cards. We are considering opening an etsy shop, so all feedback is greatly appreciated.

You don’t have to be a blogger to win. The drawing is open to everyone, everywhere, because paper is cheap to mail. 🙂

In order to make this a true family giveaway, the 2 winning comment numbers will be pulled from a hat (and probably drooled on) by our daughter “mac.” Comments will be open until 7 PM on Friday, April 25th and the winners will be announced here sometime on Saturday.

Also: the 4 of you who wrote Happy Birthday songs for Jonathan on April 17th, will also be receiving a set of 2 cards, one on watercolor paper and one on card stock.

For more giveaways, visit the Bloggy Giveaways website. But be prepared to stay a while; there’s a lot of great giveaways up already.

  1. For notecards, I would choose to use the Georgia Mountains. I also really liked the Bear on Hudson Bay and When Hunters Dream pieces, but wouldn’t find them appropriate on a generic notecard for my own uses.

  2. I can’t figure out how to find the names, but I would love to win the one with the four moose (mooses? meese?) on them! Thanks!

  3. Of course everyone will have different preferences. I liked the Bay of Fundy best. But all of them were very well done!

  4. AH WOW!!!! I definitely pick the BAY OF FUNDY rocks painting! I am from New Brunswick, but now I live in Australia and that scene just tore at my heartstrings BIG TIME!
I don’t know whether to thank you for the memory or to run away with tears streaming down my face. Your husband is a FANTASTICALLY talented painter!! thank you..

(Just seeing this is worth a hundred notecards!)

  5. Hi, Beautiful artwork. I can’t even draw a stick person! I like the “Georgia Mountains” print! Please enter me in your drawing.
    Thanks,Cindi

  6. Lovely artwork! If I won, I’d like Color Experiment (I think it’s amazing that it was done by using only 2 colors!), When Hunters Dream (I love silhouettes!), Mule Deer (I like deers) and Bear on Hudson Bay Mountain (Love the greens) 🙂 Thank you for the chance to win!

  7. I liked Humanity Fallen. Your husband is a talented artist.

Though I don’t know if the in-laws would be okay with semi-nude male body on a card, so I’d have to go with Georgia Mountains as well!

  8. I really love “Color Experiment” because I love the concept behind it, and the vaguely surreal effect. And I love nature scenes.

By the way, I LOVE your new header. It is so appropriate for the quote and it has personal significance.

  9. My favorite piece is the single deer in the right column on the nature page. It wouldn’t show up bigger when I clicked on it for some reason. Thanks for the giveaway!

  10. Wow, Coralie, your DH is *so* talented! I say definitely open up that Etsy shop! 🙂 If mac draws my number, I’d love cards of “O Little Town of Bethlehem” (partly because I would have to give one to my mother as part of her collection of Nativities).

  11. I really like O Little Town of Bethlehem. Other favorites are When Hunters Dream (I love silhouettes!) and the Bay of Fundy.

  12. Very beautiful artwork. First choice: “O Little Town of Bethlehem” I love the colors and the use of light. Second fave is the lone deer in the grass. Third fave is the herd of deer in the field.

  13. I like the bear on hudson bay mountain and when hunters dream!

I would love to win this! Please enter me.

  14. “Georgia Mountains” as first pick. The “Moose II” is nice too.
I don’t like acrylic that much (I’m not good with it). But oil paints are amazing!

  15. wonderful art! I love all the deer, but I think my favorite is the floral with the deer’s eye peeking out. I can’t seem to get the thumbnail to open (duh) so I don’t know the name…

  16. I love Bear on Hudson Bay Mountain. These would be perfect for a friend who loves the outdoors.

  17. I think an etsy shop would be a good idea. Your husband’s work is beautiful 🙂

I can’t seem to get the thumbnails to work either. Anyway, my favorites are the first one on the nature page and the fourth one (also shown here) Very nice!

  18. Well I couldn’t get the thumbnails to open, but I love the silhouetted elk (?)… very striking! And good luck to you if you do decide to open an Etsy shop! It’s a lot of work, but can be quite rewarding!

  19. Such great work… I am very impressed! My favorite would probably be the one with the silhouetted deer or elk or whatever they are… so pretty! Thank you!

  20. Coralie, you and Jonathan are true servants. God will surely bless you. The Gallery brought tears to my eyes. The ‘Well Done My Sons’, for teachers of His Word, was amazing. I was stunned by the Crimson Stain’. I would be proud to own any of your husbands work. It has been an honor meeting you.

  21. Wow. He is a very talented artist. I love the Georgia Morning and Georgia Mountains pieces.
